Change of name
Central Association of the Jews in Germany. [The original name had been Central Association of German Citizens of Jewish Faith] Change of goals. On the grounds of the Reich Citizenship Law of 15 September 1935 the name of the association has to be changed and the restrictions on its goals must be regulated. Articles 1, 2 and 5 will read as follows: § 1 The name of the association is: “Central Association of the Jews in Germany”. § 2 The association's goals are to foster Jewish life and extend spiritual, legal and economic care for the Jews living in Germany. § 5 In § 5, paragraph 1, sentence 1, the words “citizen of the State” will be changed to “subject of the State”.
